The Terrace Room
One level below the Grand Ballroom lies the Terrace Room, a setting rich with its own history and exquisite architecture. Meticulously restored, it features original crystal chandeliers made by Charles Winston, replicas of those in the Palace of Versailles. Striking yet elegant, the Terrace Room serves as a jewel within The Plaza, perfect for a variety of events both large and small, either as a compliment to the Grand Ballroom or on its own.
The Oak Room
Often referred to as a core piece of the DNA that makes New York City, The Oak Room provides an elegantly paneled, German Renaissance Revival-style space. With frescoes of Bavarian castles and a unique grape-laden chandelier, this room is unlike anything else available in Manhattan. It can be set for conferences, weddings, seminars, and panels for up to 140 people, offering a truly historic atmosphere.
The Edwardian Room
Located at the corner of Manhattan's most desirable address, The Edwardian Room encompasses classic New York sights through large windows overlooking Central Park and Fifth Avenue. The Grand Spanish Renaissance Revival style space, with its paneled oak wainscoting and elaborate trussed ceiling, is available for private events accommodating up to 300 guests.
The Rose Club
Perched above the lobby overlooking Fifth Avenue, The Rose Club offers an elegant ambiance with rich shades of royal blue, gold, and mahogany wood paneling. This flexible space is ideal for intimate gatherings, offering semi-private receptions for 15-50 guests or private receptions for up to 150 standing guests.
Executive Boardroom
For high-level meetings requiring privacy and security, The Plaza’s Executive Boardroom on the 11th floor is the perfect space. Accommodating up to 16 executives, it features a large conference table, the latest AV equipment, and a customized catering menu. A dedicated Meeting & Events Specialist assists with all planning details to ensure a seamless experience.
The Palm Court
The entire Palm Court can be reserved for private receptions of 100-300 guests, offering a timelessly elegant setting with its stained-glass dome and palm tree decor. This iconic space provides a perfect blend of old New York charm and modern hospitality for memorable events.
