Paris's legendary Hôtel Plaza Athénée is set to transform into a winter wonderland for the 2025 festive season, announcing an extensive program of culinary events and experiences from late November through January. The hotel's iconic courtyard, La Cour Jardin, will once again be the centerpiece of the celebrations, featuring a picturesque ice-skating rink and a cozy alpine-inspired chalet.

A Magical Alpine Chalet in the Heart of Paris

From November 27 to January 31, the shimmering Cour Jardin will host the "Chalet du Plaza Athénée." Evoking the warmth of a mountain retreat, the chalet invites guests to gather around a shared table for a convivial dinner featuring melted cheese specialties and chilled champagne. The experience is crowned with complimentary access to the hotel's legendary ice rink. The chalet will be open Wednesday through Sunday for most of the season, operating daily from December 22 to January 4, and is also available for private hire.

Festive Afternoon Tea and Celebratory Brunches

From December 1 to January 4, La Galerie will present a specially curated holiday afternoon tea. Executive pastry chefs Angelo Musa and Elisabeth Hot have designed a selection of festive sweet delights, including a mini version of the hotel's signature Yule log and its rich, gourmet hot chocolate. Children can enjoy ice skating following their treat.

On Christmas Day, guests can choose between two magnificent brunch options. The Restaurant des Petits Déjeuners will offer a champagne brunch in its gilded setting, featuring a parade of Parisian delicacies, while the Salon Haute Couture will host a grand buffet brunch with live music. Both experiences include access to the ice rink for children.

Elegant Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Feasts

The celebrations begin on Christmas Eve with a gala dinner at the Art Deco Le Relais Plaza. The festive menu, accompanied by live music, will feature dishes such as Bresse chicken with black truffle and the signature "La Patinoire du Plaza Athénée" Yule log.

For Christmas Day lunch and dinner, Le Relais Plaza will also serve a special festive à la carte menu in its warm and lively brasserie atmosphere, perfect for families and friends.

Ring in the New Year in Parisian Style

New Year's Eve at the Plaza Athénée offers multiple options for a memorable celebration. Le Relais Plaza will host a glamorous dinner party with a classic French menu and live music in its Art Deco interiors.

For an ultra-exclusive experience, the Michelin-starred Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée will present a special candlelit six-course dinner inspired by 17th-century French aristocracy.

The Salon Haute Couture will be the venue for a dazzling dinner and dance gala beneath shimmering chandeliers, with live music and a DJ carrying the festivities into the early hours. Later in the evening, Le Bar will host its own New Year's Eve party with Dom Pérignon champagne and dancing until 4 am.

The celebrations continue on New Year's Day with a recovery brunch at the Restaurant des Petits Déjeuners and special lunch and dinner service at Le Relais Plaza.

Signature Holiday Pastries

No Parisian holiday is complete without traditional desserts. The hotel's pastry team has created two exquisite offerings available for pre-order from December 1. The "La Patinoire du Plaza Athénée" Yule log, inspired by the ice rink, features pecan crunch, soft biscuit, runny heather honey caramel, and a light lemon mousse. For Epiphany, the "Cœur d’amande" King Cake offers a refined take on the classic with golden puff pastry and a light almond frangipane.
