Graduate by Hilton has officially opened its doors in Dallas, marking the brand’s first hotel in Texas. Situated in Highland Park, directly across from Southern Methodist University (SMU), the 93-key hotel blends mid-century modern architecture with Texas ranch-style design and Graduate’s signature collegiate charm.
“Introducing the Graduate brand to Texas—one of the country’s most dynamic markets—is a major milestone for us,” said Parker Henderson, brand leader of Graduate by Hilton. The hotel’s design pays homage to local traditions, featuring warm interiors with tanned leather, velvet sofas, cowhide ottomans, and handwoven textiles.
The property includes a vibrant lobby lounge, outdoor pool and terrace, flexible event spaces, and a signature restaurant, Los Charros Tex-Mex Smokehouse. The restaurant celebrates Tex-Mex and Texas barbecue traditions, with a rustic-industrial setting featuring reclaimed wood and custom bolo-tie light fixtures.
Guest rooms combine mid-century influences with a red, white, and blue color palette, featuring custom ceramic bedside lamps and lounge chairs upholstered with bluebonnet prints. Original tilework in the bathrooms is complemented by bold blue accents and horse-print wallpaper.
The hotel’s outdoor pool area offers a relaxing retreat with lounge seating and lush greenery, perfect for guests looking to unwind.
